My 2018 Tacoma arrived on the boat yesterday. Drove it home and found out the cargo light will not turn off. Flipped the cargo light to off, door and on numerous times and it still stays on after the truck is turned off. Even waited an hour and it was still on. Tried to pull the cargo lp fuse inside the truck and no luck. Finally had to disconnect the negative cable on the battery. Any ideas on why it is staying on?

Thats a odd one the newer cars and trucks have a timeout to save battery if this happens I did that the other day and left mine on but timed out after about 20 minutes.

Its dealer warrantee time. Get it fixed. Switch on left of steering wheel should be left 100% off, center 20 second or so timer once doors are shut as mentioned above, and right 100% time on.
