I recently bought a BakFlip G2 (thanks SelfMade) and I love it so far.
My question is, when hauling cargo (your typical Home Depot run) how do you keep the panel from flipping backward in the wind? - You are supposed to be able to drive with the BakFlip open in segments.
I tried using bungee cords attached to the buckles at the cab end but the panel just slammed back in the wind,... Plus there is no perfect place to attach at the tail end.
Any suggestions? Just bought some ratcheting cargo straps so this may be my next try.

Use ratchet straps, too much give in bungees. I ride with a single Panel open at times and have never had that issue though. You could always just open it all the way and put the support struts up, or stop driving through hurricanes!

Ha, no hurricanes. Just normal 55-65 mph. Where do you clip at the tail end?
