    You’re quite the cool dude.

    I think above the wheel well is an ideal spot. Because I often have 1-2 dogs in the bed and they sometimes crowd the front of the bed. Also that spot seems best for recovery boards and a shovel is just the right size for above a wheel well.

    I’m not sure if spade forward or backward is better but if a breakaway mount were possible, a quick handle grab and dig out and throw back in the bed would be cool.

    I have a shell but I’d imagine many have a rack or something in the way of grabbing from over the side so quick access without having to climb in would be rad.

    Ok, We can play around with this idea some. We have 3 or 4 different variations of shovels already here at the shop. Maybe we can come up with a good idea that's minimal and easy to access quickly with minimal manipulation of any sort of hardware.
