Sorry.... my old ass tablet. Try to disregard the first part 2 post. I tried to delete it..

    Cargo Ease Dual Bedslide.
If Cargo Ease reads this, I hope the can take it constructively for product improvement.

    Safety First.
    The verticle walls are dangerous.
I had to put a radius and trim on the edges.

Now the walls of the center section I chose to remove. And yes, it entailed the need to shim beneath the deck having removed the dangerous center walls.

Next there are no places to tie down cargo....
Look at the ad pic. At least in the ad it had laser cut side walls. Mine did not.

I elected to put D-rings to secure my loads.
Having said that, You cannot just bolt them in place. An underside protruding bolt will interfere with the slides roller bearing.

Using all thread I had to drill trough the deck and frame, and plug weld the all rod in place.

Note the potential for interference in the center of the slides. It's manageable but one must be observant when moving the slide. If 1 D- ring is flopped over, it will grab the opposing side.

I also made life simpler by installing a couple ratchet strap ratchets a fixed to a side wall.

Sorry guys/gals for the bad second post. This old tablet was more stressful that the Cargo slide debacle.

Having said that and shared this, it's not a boast post. A context in me during this installation was frustration at some outward dangers and weakness in usability of the product.

In the end. Note, it is heavy duty per say for overland considerations. But I do use it for building materials as well. Also, when Alcan Springs made my awesome rear leaf springs all my load/gear/ fixtures weights were built considered.

Thanks Jamie and crew at Cargo Ease. It all worked out.
