my beloved 09 Tacoma suffered an insult. While visiting friends in an unsavory part of town, the sliding rear cargo window was forced open breaking the plastic locking mechanism. Not the latch, but the stationary plastic piece.
I called Toyota and.... No lock parts are available separately..you have to buy the whole window for over 800$!!!! wtf...
Any ideas to get it working without replacing the whole back window?
    Thanks

x2 on this. For a fraction of what you would pay for a replacement you would be rocking a power sliding rear window.
