Sweet. That'll look good with the patches. Never thought of that. Not that I mind the carhartt logo, but a cool patch would be even better... Shouldn't be hard to sew on.

Installed the covers after the recommended salt water soak and machine wash.

The material and craftsmanship is top notch but the fit is meh so far. I expect them to settle in much better than they currently look. I also rushed the install so I haven't spent a ton of time massaging the fabric into place or messing with the tension straps.

It's hard to pass the flap/strap that goes between the seat bottom and seat back through the gap, I got it through but I want to make it tighter but am worried to put too much tension on the stitching.

only pic I have on photobucket. they get a little better than that as far as being snug in the bucket. but mine arent perfect to the contour. the front back adjustment is the biggest one I make

I just took them off to wash today and thats why I love them. they were the right ones for me as Ive spilled stuff and been dirty as hell but nothings getting through and they clean up well. easy on and easy off

Thanks for the pic. I agree after sitting in them and making adjustments for a few weeks they should look a lot better.

Is the salt water soak to soften the fabric. No patch.

it sets the dye in the fabric so it doesnt leak onto your seats i believe

i just washed mine again today and used tide with febreeze and then a dryer sheet and they are smooth

Just a heads up. I just picked up a set of front bucket covers for $165.50 shipped from AutoAnything with the 10% off discount they're running right now.

    http://www.autoanything.com/seat-covers/carhartt-duck-weave-seat-covers

Won't ship until November. But, that seems to be the case no matter where you find these.

I didn't bother with the rear because my seats are always folded down for my dogs platform anyway. But, the same deal would apply for the rear as well. 10% off with free shipping.

Hey man, where'd you get yours, and how much? Auto Anything has them on alleged sale right now, $174 for front row, $220 for rear, free shipping (which seems typical).

EDIT: just saw that your wife bought them in a later post.

EDIT: ....and just figured out the 10% coupon code thing.

I already bought em last night. :) The babino carnage is imminent, going on 11 mos. old He'll be in a convertible seat before too long. And the synthetic cloth weave on these SR5 seats is a retarded bitch to clean. These are perfect for R&R cleaning, filthy long camping trips, etc.
