I have a 2020 Rav4 XLE Premim. I was able to connect the start-x to carlink when I got the unit about 16 months ago. But I had a dead battery and the pairing between carlink and start-x starter was lost. I'm able to start the vehicle using the key fob, but nothing happens with the app. I already reset the start-x , disconnected the 8 pin connector from carlink module, uninstalled the app from the cell , and removed and added the vehicle over again in the app. But all I get is a flashing red light in the carlink module. Has anyone else experience this and how were you able to fix it ? I tried contacting the manufacturer and all they tell me is that the device is defective. I asked them how can their module break by removing power. It should be able to pair up again once you go through the pairing process.
