Carnage….. keep your garage or shop clean

Long story short, but I tripped over a piece of plywood I had leaning up against the wall, may have broke my kneecap. Don’t be a dumb ass like me, and I have crap lying about in the shop.

Nearly twice the size of normal. They aren’t sure if it’s cracked, or just tendon and ligament issues

Message for all the youngens, keep the shop clean.

 

I'm sending this one to the better half. We have a crowded garage that has a step between it and the house slab. She loves leaving things on that step. I have tripped on that shit, twice.




Hopefully you get good knews on the knee.

Hopefully you heal up without needing intervention. Had knee surgery last October and still having issues. Shits no joke.

 

Ouch! I keep my shop very neat and clean but it's getting more crowded with tools, bikes, Can Am Ryker, and the Taco. Chances of serious injury can still happen. Don't EVER step foot in your shop drunk...Ask me how I know.

 

PS that will probably look worse tomorrow. Might want to see a doc? Hope it heals soon my friend.

 

Been there, done that (just don't have any pictures). Several months back, I tripped on an extension cord (that was at the moment not being used and should have been coiled away). I fell into one of my MIG weld carts, ripping the torch cable off in the process. End result was very deep, triangular cut in the meat of my right deltoid. It looked like someone took a "church key" bottle opener to me. I'm sure it needed stitched, but I was too pissed off about wrecking my welder.

 

eeek after having knee injuries this gets me every time.. A good reminder I need to clean up the garage

I now have an excuse to build a 3x larger garage as “insurance” to prevent injury. Noted.

Sorry brother I’ve been there broke my kneecap a few years back plus tore my meniscus you know it if it happens pretty quick. Going back in for surgery in 2 days to get the same knee cleaned out again. The joys of falling down like a fool…

 

Damn… watch your step! I hate clutter, it stresses me out. Hope you heal up fast!
