carolina's tacoma meet, anyone???

damn...all ya'll are lucky dogs!! the shop i work in gets HOT!!! like this entire week where its been 102 to 104 degrees, in the shop its like 110 to 115......heat index is a beeoch!!! yay for gatorade!!

and bow hunting season will start the middle of next month, and if it keeps goin like this, i aint so sure im gonna like sweating my arse off waiting for bambi's uncle to walk my way!!!

I always wanted to find a job where i could actually work IN a pool. I think it would be awesome to be one of those bartenders in those fancy resorts where the bar is in the middle of the pool. Thats my dream job. In a pool, surrounded by alcohol and hot chicks in bikinis and getting paid to do it. i need to look into some resorts....

 

I don't know a man alive that doesn't envy that kind of career...

I just read this whole thread and you guys are KILLING ME!!! Just pick the closest Hooters for the Carolina Alliance to meet at and I'll be there handing out the beers from my kegstand on the keg!!! That Uwharrie trip looked like a good idea. I figure its only 8 hours away from Philly. Count me in in the Spring. Until then, here is a real meet!!!! Haha:

LQQK: so far i think we are looking at the spring for our meet, i would like to get some tires and a lift by then but i dont know if i will. I will probably just stay stock and depend on everyone else pulling me out of whatever i get myself into.

TJO: you and maverick definately need tomake it down, caravan or carpool or whatever, i want to meet the Yankee division of the Carolina Alliance

 

All trails are marked on the map of Uwharrie, so everyone can decide on trails that arent going to beat up our pretty trucks. Thats if we go there, most people meet at a gas/store restuarant called the Eldorado OUTPOST just a few miles from one of the entrances. Thats where we can get maps and passes for the day or weekend.

 

yeah, spring is definitely gonna be our best time for the meet. as soon as it gets closer to that time, we can decide on a weekend, then have some fun!! as for now, anytime some of us want to meet at a hooters or something, whoever wants to do it, post up here, and if some of us can make it, that would be cool i think!!

 

TJO, sorry I haven't had a chance to respond to this earlier, but I am absolutely up for a caravan down 95 to the Carolinas meet. We can even shock everyone with your nearly 30MPG if you tuck in nice and tight behind my camper.

About your "real meet." Let me know for next time, as you decidedly needed another Jersey tag at your meet... You know to ballance things out a bit.

 

We definately need a jersey tag. You're like me, you dont really have any off-road mods added to your truck. We can take turns pulling each other out of the sh!t all day

 

Mav and TJO I am DC and would join up with yah for a caravan or whatever! I just got done reading this whole thing, and am also itching to go! I have a farm in Greenville NC, so let me know the details also!

i say we all head to g-ville and ride on navy's farm. then we will have the meet in the spring. its gonna be alot of fun. looking like alot more of us are gonna make it when we finally put the plans in stone.
