Carpet and Heat shield

    Been reading some post.
    I want to add some heat reflective stuff on the roof than adding carpet to the whole shell.
    But I live in Texas and if outside is 100* I'm sure inside the shell gets hotter. Is there a better glue that hold.

    This is going on a cab high Snugtop long bed

    You might want to look at using the 3M Yellow Adhesive. Note you are supposed to coat both the sides with it.

    I have used this on a 1979 Jeep Cherokee for headliner and door panels. yI would definitely try to test the reflective material against the fiberglass first and then with the carpet on it. Also read the instructions and follow them to the letter since the product needs to cure and get tacky.

    Let us know what you find that works.
