I am considering parting with my camping platform. I just don't get to go camping as much as I'd like to anymore and do not use it enough. I built it myself last spring out of 3/4 in plywood (3 pieces) and 2 x 12 pressure treated wood. I stained the entire platform and coated it with a waterproof sealant. I also carpeted the top with outdoor carpet with 1/2 in carpet padding. The top surface is very comfortable; I don't need any additional padding.

    Now for some pics:

It weight about 200 lbs and will fit a 2nd Gen LB. In raw materials alone I spent between $300 - $400 on this platform. I spent over 12 hours making this thing at least. Make me an offer. Cash wanted but open to trades. Located north of Boston. Willing to deliver or meet up with buyer.

    Looking for $450 OBO.

Makes me want to build one for my shortbed, but it'd have to be lighter in weight.

Yeah, the weight could be viewed as negative. I found that It really helped with my winter driving traction. I drove to northern Vermont in every major snowstorm this winter without loosing traction once.
