I connect to Google Maps and use it for GPS.

It works fine for when wife & I visit new places.

Using the bottons on the left to switch between Maps and Audio to change SiriusXM channels.

The only drawback is, it has to be hard-connected using the USB.

Plug in your iPhone or Android to the USB (I use the one above the center console on the dash) and the AutoCarPlay window should populate on your screen. Tap it and viola!

You can navigate between the GPS (which uses whatever Maps App is on your phone) and the radio.

EDIT: I have Unlimited Data Plan service. If you're on a limited plan, watch your usage.

No, you can't. Carplay is in 20+ trucks.

This is 25% of the reason I sold my 2019 for a 2021:

    25% - Apple Carplay
    25% - Power Drive Seat
50% - I got $4k more than I paid for the 2019 and the 2021 for MSRP so a net difference of $1500.

What do you mean the connection rate is 40%? I don’t use it that often but I do like to use it with Google Maps when I’m going on trips. It constantly resets. Really annoying when it resets and I’m in the middle of actually trying to look at a direction. Dealer said some update would fix it but that didn’t work I just don’t have time to be going into the dealer to sit there for two hours or drop it off.
