Hi guys, recently installed a Sony XAVAX6000 in my 2015 Tacoma and am running into an issue with being stuck in dark mode. My dimmer works, and dims the display when my lights are on etc. But the CarPlay OS remains in dark mode as pictured. In the image you can see the map is still white, so it knows it’s day time, but all the widgets etc remain in dark gray. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried adjusting the settings in CarPlay? I was looking at mine last night and there is a setting for "Always Dark Mode" or something like that. It is the same settings icon when you scroll through apps as on your iPhone.

yeah ive messed with all of the settings to no avail. Im wondering if my head unit by default doesnt have a day/night setting, so the carplay OS always takes it as dark mode.
