also as of note, it looks like the mounting bracket for the CB on the DCLB and the DCSB are slightly different. Where on the DCSB the CB is not directly under the crossmember causing the crossmember to twist (hence my support brace made) the DCLB CB is mounted directly underneath the crossmember which will make it much harder for the cb to twist the crossmember and the brace much less effective (needed)

And i must say, i have been saying for a LOOOOONG time that the stock CB on the 4x4 trucks is just WAY to floppy and one of the main causes of the vibe issues.... @12TRDTacoma thank you for doing the leg work and confirming that this is one way to combat vibes and re-assure my theory!

I just wish this worked for the prerunner double cab, I've gone through three O.E. carrier bearings in the last few years, the last one I had an updated O.E. Driveline installed, and my carrier bearing has developed all kinds of slop, I'm seriously considering a one piece driveline or a 2 piece one like the 4X4's gave, so I can put a better carrier bearing on

What is the difference between the prerunner shaft and the 4x4 one?

Prerunners came with a slip yoke at the trans, and not slip JOINT after the center u joint.

4x4's come with a slip JOINT after the center u joint and have a fixed yoke at the trans.

If you want to run it. You can, you just have to figure out a way to try and make it work. Where there is a will, there's a way. Lol.

What I am going to do is link in a group buy thread to one I will create here very soon. If over the weekend I get enough interest. Say 20 people? I'll either call, or shoot over an email to IEDLS and ask them if I have 20 guys who will buy the CB's from them if they would be willing to offer a discount. If they say yes then I will turn the GB feeler thread into a full on GB thread. Sound good guys?

All interested in a group buy for the Inland Empire Driveline Service Bearing!!!

I have created a feeler thread for a group buy. The thread feeler portion will end on Monday by 8AM PST and will turn into a full on Group Buy once I have received a confirmation from IEDLS themselves on if they give me the green light for a discount or not. Put your name on the list if you are interested.
