Greased my u joints. Pushed up on the driveshaft at the carrier bearing. Shaft moves about 3/4" up and down and back and forth. Not normal am I correct? 359000 miles.

Not making noise but there is a vibration present between 60 and 70 mph. I rotasted the tires and the vibrations are still there.

I think any truck with that many miles is going to see a great deal of driveline wear and the bearing is probably pretty shot. as far as the play goes, I think the carrier bearing has play to begin with. I have a little play in mine and always have.

although I have a vibe around the same speed so maybe I'm in the same boat

That was a symptom of mine when it went bad, vibration at 65-75 mph. Also had some strange vibration when depressing the clutch because of the change in torque. My advice is if the funds allow it, buy a cheap one ($25-30) to see if that's your problem.
