So I lifted my truck last month 3"f/2"r. With front spacers/blocks with 5100(I know probably not the best idea but eventually I want to upgrade to toytec front shocks coilover setup and an add a leaf in the rear) and JBA's on the way. I did a diff fluid change with lsd additive and added friction modifier til it dribbled out. No problem there. But now I have the chirping/squeaking noise(only when i go into reverse). Seems like the fluid change is fine. And the noise may have coincidentally came after I changed the fluid. With research and input from fellow TW members it seems my u joints are going bad OR a bad carrier bearing. Now looking at my 2 piece Driveshaft I can see the Driveshaft after the carrier bearing towards the diff is at a slightly different angle. I ordered a old man emu carrier bearing drop kit. I'm assuming because of this angle and driving this past month(with my new lift) mightve caused wear on either the u joint or carrier bearing. That said I'm hoping the new kit helps the angle. My question is can I add shims if I have a block set in the rear already(or are shims only for AAL'S)? Can I have a shim installed WITH carrier bearing drop kit installed together? I have an appointment with an independent toyota shop locally with a very high rating on yelp. Looking forward to what they say. Should I buy a shim set? I do notice a slight vibration going 5-15 mph. I was also thinking of when I buy the new front setup(bilstein with toytec and having the uca installed) of dropping the front to 2.5 inches to help this angle on my Driveshaft. This has been plaguing my mind the past week. I was thinking of going back to stock height but I'm already invested with my JBAs and plus I love the look of the lift with 285 70 17. Your comments/input are appreciated

Were you able to figure out what the problem was exactly or what worked to fix it? I'm curious about this also.
