I checked my carrier bearing, after installing an AAL.
My rear driveshaft had additional downward pressure...which made sense, since I raised the back 1.5"

I simply added enough washers, lowering the carrier bearing (until the driveshaft had equal movement).

Before I make up some lowering blocks, I'll drive it for a bit...let the rear settle and check again.

I popped over here just to see at what point in lift height people are typically adding a spacer to the carrier bearing mount. Unfortunately, I think I lost 10 IQ points reading this. I mean...just damn.

Bro, go jack up the front of your truck. Any jack will work. Observe what happens to the rear pinion. Come back and report your findings, maybe some of us will get some IQ points back.

Total Chaos mid-travel front. JD Fab SUA rear.
Came to revive this dead thread because I adjusted the preload on my front coilovers. I am feeling that driveline vibration. For a while I was praying it wasn’t the gears in the rear diff that were about to go out and had to think practically what it could be.
Truck specs: 2016 DCSB 2x. King ext coilovers and TC UCA up front. Deaver stage 3 with King ext 2.5s in the rear. As soon as I made the preload adjustment (now have 10 and 7 threads showing driver/passenger) is when I noticed the vibrations.
I will likely try dropping the CB first then reevaluate.
