Hi guys, so after replacing my drive shaft u-joint I noticed that my carrier bearing is shot. Any ideas on good brands that I should look into?

I’m currently fighting with truck over this. The first one I tried was from Autozone, I think it was duralast and it lasted a total of 3 days. While I’m still debating with myself if I did something wrong when installing the new bearing, in my opinion when comparing the new bearing I got from car quest (I think it’s like anchor point or something) to the autozone one I think the carquest bearing is higher quality.

There’s always OEM too, more expense but it’s gotta be decent quality to last long (255k on my truck)z

Would a one piece shaft work with a six inch lift?

Maybe you should have left some details about that.

It'd probably be preferred over a two piece. Do you have vibrations when driving? A driveshaft shop should be able to hook you up for less than $600

It vibrates when I take off but after I get over 20mph it stops

That's definitely from your driveshaft angles being out of whack and are somewhat easily remedied. If you have a driveshaft shop replace the carrier bearing, you may as well have them fix the vibes too. Though at that point it may be cheaper for a one piece.

Will I find any problems with a one piece with a six inch lift?

No, and like I said it'd probably be more beneficial than a 2 piece with that much lift. If you're interested your best bet is to talk to a local, reputable shop and get their opinion as well.
