I lifted my Prerunner with 2" spacers up front and will be lifting the rear with Toytec AAL, I got those used so its impossible determine if they will do 2" lift or 1" and 1/2.

My question is should I get carrier bearing kit, to prevent my carrier bearing going bad or is it not necessary with that small of a lift?

One or two things modded... Check out the build
its not going to hurt to get one. plus they are not that expensive so if it gives you piece of mind then the few extra dollars will be worth it. another thing ithat it will help with is the take off shudder that lifted trucks can get. so it can help smooth that out, that is the main reason why i purchased them for my last truck. easy 5 to 10 min install, will actually take you longer to get your cardboard placed under the truck then it will to do the job. JUST MAKE SURE YOU USE A JACK STAND ON YOUR DRIVESHAFT!!!!
