I left it unplugged yesterday and it wouldnt start.
(Was filling plugs with dielectric grease.)

If it went bad on the road.... the truck wouldnt start?

    95 3.4

So I should carry a Spare Coil and a MAF housing under the rear seat?

    Anything else Mission critical?
    (Aside from RSB, of course)

Yeah they don't run without it. I've got a spare OEM MAF since I no longer use a MAF if you want to buy it

    What are the split years/models?

    Anything else?

Was shocked it doesn't have any sort of speed-density/alpha-N backup recovery.

95-mid year 98 have the bullet style MAF you have. Yeah it is kinda weird it has no alpha - n fallback. Switched to speed density when I installed my haltech computer and built a fallback alpha n map in case the map sensor ever died.

    Nothin else for trail spares?

Broke AF right now, and will circle back around for the Spare MAF when I can.
Might meet up in WA somewhere, someday.

I always carry a spare coil wire and coil, new belts, and lower ball joints with bolts in my kit.
