I plan to pick up a couple 10’ kayaks next week and load them into my Taco 6’ bed. Don’t have any rack and not looking to buy one, just borrowing the kayaks. Anyone have suggestions on how best to secure them for hauling?

I've done this in my nissan by just tying them down gently. A strap across the front and across the back did fine.

    Minor stuff.
Just put the tailgate down and strap them down in a couple of places. Should be fine. 4’ isn’t that long. My son and daughter’s kayakS are 8’ long and I just let them hang off the top of the closed tailgate.
