My first car was a 1971 Chevy Caprice like this one:

Mine was dark green, with a dark green vinyl roof. Freakin living room on wheels! It could pass anything but a gas station, lol.

My dad was a Buick Fan. I remember those monster early 70s G.M cars taught you to think ahead, since you had to crank over the steering wheel about 30 seconds BEFORE you really wanted to turn...

I love those old Hondas! My first Japanese car was a 1987 Accord. Fun to drive, built like a tank.
    Not mine, but identical:

Mine was olive green. I actually really liked driving both of these cars but the Benz was like driving a train/cloud hybrid. I even tried running it on cooking oil (I’m in Berkeley. What the hell?) and my exhaust smelled like French fries and samosas. I didn’t even filter it that well, just poured it through a rag and then into the tank!

'79 Camaro. Mine was not a Z28, but it was this color, 350, and a 4-speed.

I have no pictures had a 72 caddy El Dorado front wheel drive 2dr with the atrack. Money green white vinyl top cream puff seats. I'm a young guy but that car was awesome. Sold it to a friend and it sat by his garage and literally rusted away

Awesome. Saw one puttering down the road the other day. Had about 20 years of dust on it aside from where the wipers cleaned the windshield. Dude probably just bought it.

Hahaha, I had a Chevette too! A major POS. At least it was a manual. Sometimes my friends would have to push me in it, to get it started! I’d pop the clutch, and she’d come to life!

My first car was a mid-eighties black Dodge Charger followed by a Chevy Citation. Both were a hatchback. First vehicle was a 1983 Honda Nighthawk 450

I really enjoyed driving the Citation. It went everywhere and I could not kill it. The odometer rolled twice. I sent it to the scrap yard in 1997 while it was still running and replaced it with my 87 Toyota MR2.

I bought this 1967 Mercury Cyclone GT in 1982 while I was in the Marines . It had a 390FE motor with 428SCJ heads and a 406 PI Tri Power intake

About a year later I pulled that motor and put a 427side oiler with Tunnel Port cyl heads in it . Three years later I sold it for $4500
