    indeed, its not that bad in a decent car. I usualyl take one of our mercedes over it, although tomorrow, I'm heading out of town in the Tacoma, with my Casita trailer in tow, and yes, I pretty much HAVE to go over 17 to get where I'm going.

    From Los Gators side, Old Santa Cruz from Lexington resivior left on summit ave, right down San Jose-Soquel Rd.

    From the hwy 1 side go reverse. Beautiful and not dealing with as much crazy.

    Actually, through '65, the Comet and Falcon were almost twins. It wasn't until 66 when the Fairlane and Comet both went to the twin vertical headlights that the Falcon was left behind.

    The Comet became the Montego and the Comet name was discontinued in 1970, but it came back in 1971, but was based on the Ford Maverick, as someone else stated.
