So because of this thread I put both my '17 OR DCSB and my wife's '17 4Runner SR5 Premium into Carvana's website at work. I like by truck but was curious to see what they said. I didn't get a lot for my tacoma ($28,950) which I think had to do with the lift. They offered me $34,250 for the 4Runner which is a lease and has been sitting in the garage for the last 6 months as she's been working from home. Buyout is $28,150 and we have another couple months on the lease. Was planning on turning it in and waiting to check out the Bronco's when they come out. They're picking the 4runner up on Tuesday.

I wish I would of bought one 2 years ago. If I would of had $10K on hand I would not be on this forum right now. A Ridgeline would carry my ass to Walmart and back just as easy as this 4 popper Tacoma does. Probably more comfortably too.

Carvana offered me 37950 for my 2019 DCSB OR with 8500 miles. Traded at dealer for 38,000. (Purchased at 36,250). The dealership currently has it listed at original msrp 41,987.

Carvana has some listed on eBay and some of the pictures don't match the truck unless there's been some parts swapping, wrong pics example Pro grill and off road wheels on an SR

For those of you that sold to Carvana, how long did it take. I put my paperwork in 4 days ago and it still says "sit tight, we will review your documents in 1-2 days"

If you have Twitter, I recommend messaging them on their. I was stuck too and they had docs reviewed and approved in under an hour after contacting them. Next best thing is to call as I had another vehicle approved in about 20 mins on the phone with their Sell to Carvana team.

just checked my credit union and the loan for my car they picked up last Friday is gone already.

Carvana flooded their site with tacomas and are now offering thousands less for trucks than they were a week and a half ago..while maintaining silly prices for trucks they are selling. I think ill sit on mine for a while and not drive it. lol

I wonder if the Tacoma is going to be their loss leader just to drive traffic. At some point I see these offers drying up as some market maker loses their job as inventory turns drop as the trucks are not priced correctly anymore.

In simple terms Tacomas are the new Beanie Babies and the bottom will fall out back to realistic pricing. Thursday's job numbers showed that a million people filed for unemployment and yet the markets are carrying on like nothing is wrong.

In all honesty I think probably 90% of people who buy a small pickup would be better off with a ridgeline. For normal people who go to Lowe’s, throw some kids bikes in the back and take a load to the dump the ridgeline is more than enough. Other than looks and maybe real “off-roading” the Tacoma probably loses a majority of the other categories like MPG, ride, interior room.

I venture to say your typical Ridgeline owners "trip to the dump" is wheeling the garbage cans to the curb every week.

I do wonder what the demographics of a new Ridgeline buyer are. The only person i know that had one was a school teacher, a woman in her late thirties. I never saw anything in the bed, but some camping gear

It's an old/retired suburban dwellers vehicle, someone who doesnt really ever need a pickup and also doesnt care that they look ridiculous driving it. All they care about is interior room and the ability to haul the occasional lawn mower to ace hardware for a tune up

I haven’t seen to many ridgeline around my area in the northwest. It’s of surprising because the Subaru and Tacoma are like the state vehicles haha.

I’ve always wondered that too, like what about trading in a Tacoma Sport trim that doesn’t have a hood scoop?

What are the 2020’s listed at? MSRP as well? I was think Toyota isn’t doing 0% financing anymore, any people getting 0% loans on new 2020 units?

$28,497 Carvana offer for my 2017 SR5 4x4 w/ 55k miles. I was planning on posting for sale soon. Is that a reasonable sale price? Or should I try private party and sell the shell separately?

I don't know about private party for your truck but you can probably get more for the shell separately.

Ifigured. Made the mistake of trading in my last Tacoma w/ the shell. Probably will sell separate.

We got notified 2 hours after we submitted everything that we were good to go. At that point you select how you want to get paid and schedule a pickup/drop off time.
