Anyone running a Carven TR or Flowmaster DBX in place of stock muffler?

I think it sounds great. It seems like the volume of the exhaust would be very controlled at highway speeds.

I just figured I throw it out there....to me sounds like a cross of a flowmaster chambered muffler and the muted tone of a magnaflow

I just put on a super 44 muffler this weekend. Definitely not a v8 but adds a nice deeper tone.

Ok really really leaning this way. Did you just cut off muffler and weld a new one on ? 2.5 inch? Any videos? 2.5 center/offset ?

Yup, just had the old one cut off and a 2.5 center in/ offset out super 44 went in from a local shop. There’s a clip on YouTube with a black Trd sport, that’s how I picked lol (wear headphones)

    edit: found the link:

Also, fair warning it’s quite a bit louder than stock but not overwhelming

I used to have a 3 inch in/out on a 2009 Nissan Titan and it sounded great. Loud but not and moderate at most inside but not bad. Is was right when the super 44 came out. Had lots of compliments but I know 6 cyl are harder to get right
