For sure! I never took the canopy of my Danger Ranger (and it was a 6ft bed) and honestly I doubt I would ever take it off my Taco when I get it. Especially now that I have a short bed. If you are not having to lift a canopy off then $180 is definitely worth it.

Got my Mt. Bachelor the other day and the woman and I are impressed with it for the cost.

Have had it airing out in the living room for the past few days, the chemical smell was strong when we opened it up. Overall very happy with the purchase and looking forward to putting it to good use this spring and summer.

Ok, going to get some opinions from ya'll. With tax season coming and hopefully a promotion at work many mods should be coming to my taco soon :D

So, for those of you with the Mt Bachelor what do you like best about it and least about it?

Same goes for those of you with the Mt Shasta.

It's just me the lady and my Yellow Lab named Coors.

I love my Mt. Shasta. I can't say there is anything I don't like about it, but there are definitely a few things to improve upon. I find that if there is more than 1 person sleeping in the RTT, condensation builds up beneath the sleeping mat and it will have to be pulled and aired/dried out before stowing the RTT. Also, I have added some LED light strips to the interior of my RTT so I don't have to take a headlamp or flashlight up with me anymore.

And lastly, there should be another CVT RTT group but coming in April or so...so you may want to hold out for that.

For sure. I will be send bobby a note come March and see about details time frame etc. The extra overhang and annex, how much space do you really have in there and is it worth the extra $400? Last time I was in Bend talking to him they hadn't fully moved into the new show room yet so only a Bachelor was on display.

I camp year around so I like the idea of being covered when getting into bed but I am 6'2 200lb. Is there really that much extra room (with the annex on)

I have the Bachelor and love it. Dealing with the tent in the rain sucks but that could be said for any tent - you will get wet and filthy. I do wish that my annex had 4 walls and a floor (only 3 walls and no floor). I would use it more if it did. But the tent is awesome. Its so much more comfortable than the ground and being that there are windows on all 4 sides I have much better visibility from the tent than I had in my ground tents (very important since I have 4 legged visitors in my camps often). The interior is very roomy as well - I was stuck out in a rain storm this past summer and my friend and I opted to sit in the tent and play cards. We were totally comfortable, sitting up, and weren't all hunched over like a dome tent.

We know that Mike wet the bed, you don't need to keep covering for him
The only time I had condensation was when I was stuck out in a monsoon last spring and I had the windows all zipped up. After that night Bobby told me to leave a window unzipped for more ventilation and I was fine. I also use my self inflating sleeping pad in the tent as well as the foam mattress so maybe the combo of the two keeps the condensation at bay.

That pretty much makes my decision easy. Mt Shasta. I will not be putting my 87lb lab up into the tent and I definitely want it fully enclosed so he can sleep down there. My gf needs a few more comforts so this will help get her out year around. And best part is we are splitting the cost :D now if only we could split the cost of a ring...

So the rumor of a GB in March is no longer a rumor. Spread the word to others who do not have them yet. Sometime in mid to late March.

Right on. I will be talking with another guy who works with Bobby at the Oregon Sportsman's show next weekend and then I will be in Bend, OR at their showroom the following weekend. I got money for a tent burning a hole in my pockets and I needs to spend it :D:D

Let me know when you come down this way. I can show you around. Some really great spots near rivers and lakes with a buncha snow (hopefully we get our freaking snow soon).

Definitely getting in on this group buy! Can't wait!

Also, I heard there are some newer features on their tents this year. Can anybody confirm that?
