I actually talked to the dealer today and asked about this. He said "that is an added cost option". Yeah right, those things can't cost over a couple of bucks when they buy them by the case. I'll check out e-bay.
    Thanks.

I didn't get one either on my 2010. Unfortunately, I didn't spot it till I got home. Had I known, I'd have pulled the nice one out of my 97 4Runner that I traded. I'm sure my trade value wouldn't have budged with or without the case.

But, my son pulled the manuals out of his totaled Subaru Outback, so I borrowed his case, fits fine.

Bottom line, I can believe it is a dealer add, but I can't believe the dealership floats it's 2010 bottom line by savings from eliminating this from each car sold.

I got one of those cheap plastic ones with the dealer's name and stuff on it too. I think that I'm gonna get one of those leather ones off ebay also.

Ya, sure! Go ahead and remind again that I was ripped off on this one.

Now I'm thinking about that little net that goes in the center console that I also didn't get.

Shit - I'm still wading through Google trying to figure out what an owner's manual is for. I know where to put the gas, change the oil, and how to mash the gas pedal - is there more than that? :D

I did go check my glovebox (since I bought my truck a month ago now at 100k) and I do have an owner's manual and some soft of pleather holder.

What net is this that you speak of?... lol. I didn't get one of those either... But I did get a cheap plastic cover for the owner's manual.

Hey Patriot, you're not alone. I didn't get the net either! But I'm still glad I bought my Tacoma. At some point I'll probably pick up a case of some kind from ebay.
