just a couple of things tbh
thinking about ording a set atm

it looks to be easier to just buy new bushings instead of reusing the old ones

Best bet is to pm Eric at Archive. Tell him what setup you have and ask what he suggests. If he tells you to use the poly bushings in stock shackles you can get the bushings from him and the shackles may be ordered without bushings so you can easily install the poly ones

Another day at home. If I could figure out how to get health insurance paid I’d go ahead and retire. A little worried they’re going to rush opening things up before we are actually ready. I haven’t left my property in over a week

That shit is expensive. Well, from what I hear it is anyway. I haven’t had to check on what it would cost us yet. Now with how much I am sure we have lost in our retirement I’ll have to work a while to let it catch back up if it does

I didn’t even realize today was Friday until about an hour ago. This quarantine and unemployed situation sucks.

I only remembered because my wife said thank God it was Friday this morning. Yesterday I thought it was Wednesday

Long time indeed! thnks for the "hey." Been so busy with work and not a whole lot of truck fab until recently. But now that i'm making stuff for the truck it makes me want to see what everyone else is doing. I'll read up to see how you're doing. Cheers!

Will do. Been posting a bit over in the Anything Welding forum when i was making my welding table. SO nice to have that thing. I use it for everything. But after that I was banned from truck or shop projects until I finished a (surprisingly) big project for the wife - patio string lights. Took forever to figure out how to get them level, high enough, and square over the patio. Final solution involved making some custom stainless anchors to hold the wire rope at our roof:
    CableAnchors.jpg

So i still managed to have a little fun with it in the shop. Reacquainted myself with cutting threads and got a nice couple of tools for turning/milling stainless. Next up: a little cover to keep my bumper swingout pivot from rusting, and installing an arb inflator.

I need a layout table badly. Prefferably 4x8. Problem is I need a bigger building to put it in first lol

I went 30 x 72". And low. Was about a grand in steel, plasma cutting and casters. Ouch. Not the flattest, but it'll do fine for me. I may need to drill more holes tho. Best part is it is replacing a folding welding table and my dad's old homemade tiny table, which added together are about the same size but the new table is on wheels, so my shop actually feels more roomy.
