    Bed stiffeners v 2.0:

Ok, the initial version was made out of 1/8" and while very rigid I decided just not heavy enough (welders over build everything). So, I made a second set out of 3/16 and changed the gussets raising them which covers a greater distance and provides even more rigidity. Overkill? Absolutely, as I have no plans for a hard cap I'm not sure if they're even needed but they were fun to make. If the bed flexes now it'll be broken somewhere!

Bob if you mean the bed stiffeners yes there is a little welding. If your referring to the light brackets there's no welding they're cut and shaped out of 1 piece of angle

Hope everybody had a good Father's Day! I spent the weekend in Blacksburg for a festival where my wife and daughter ran a charity 5K in the rain. It was a fun weekend spending time with my family and eating good food even got to have sushi twice.

Its all good Chris, I don't think many up north are much in tune about some of the history of what has been going on (I only know one piece of it) and as fabricators, you and Justin should always have the right to choose whether you want to help folks or let them be. I think many assume that vocal agreements with you guys are set in stone like a shop, but this is strictly a courtesy from either of you to want to help someone else out. I have to agree with you about Justin, with the mixed bag guys who somehow always find their way to him I think his personality is a good tool to help deter the sh*theads. Although we both know it doesn't work as well as it should to keep some of them at bay from continually bothering him.

I have to admit, I think those light brackets are pure genius. I think if when you are more able, you could make some money on those. Its a clean, new style to add to the competition that Im sure many around here atleast would fully take advantage of if given the opportunity. Always exciting to see whats next!

The proudness is better when you do it with what you have! we all wish to have specialized tools and the skills of a pro but unfortunately it is not for everyone. You have the skills, you have really great skills! so you can do really good with less than someone who is having all the tools and less experience/skills.
