You've been busy this weekend. Did you have to extend the slider legs at all or did you cut them off flush enough that it wasn't an issue?

To be honest idk that much about them but from what I was to understand I believe it was the Urd they had some issues with. I could be wrong or it could have been corrected. Ask Tacocat he knew quite a bit about them.

So many conflicting emotions. For everyone else Im feeling :woot::yes::yay:

But for me, i feel :annoyed::boom::goingcrazy::lalala::pout::rain::bananadead: haha
I miss the truck already, and its still in the driveway. Im glad the short throw swap went smooth. I forgot how sloppy the stock shifter is haha. I missed two shifts on the way home :anonymous:
The hood light looks great, get those redlines mounted and itll look even better. Glad they found a new home where they will be appreciated.

The hood light is warm white btw, when the anti dark guy was selling them in the beginning, he was offering warm and cool. I think he only offers cool now.

They were fine just squared them up and I used 3:16 plates this time instead of 1/4 they're only about 3/8" total shorter than before but Christie is happy she thinks they're easier to get in and out of the truck over.

Urd uses pieces of the stock shifter. I have read that is can wear out over time. This was all hearsay, so take with a grain of salt. The trd ss is very nice, and worth the investment imo

Thanks again I can't tell you how much I appreciate your generosity. If it meant you'd keep your truck I'd say bring it back out and we'll happily put everything back on. Your always welcome here and not because you gave me stuff

I've read about issues with the 6-speed URD short shifters on here as well. I talked to Gadget about it when I went up to URD earlier this year. He said that the end of the 6-speed shifters is thin, so with the increased leverage, sometimes the ball end that the extension piece attaches to breaks off. It's a weakness in the stock parts and the only way around it would be a whole new shifter. I saw a couple of posts on here where people welded the extension on after the ball end broke off.

Any closer on deciding between the WRX sedan and Golf R hatch?

That sounds right. I remember a while back someone on the forums was modifying stock shifters.

Yeah. There's a guy that cuts the top down, re-profiles, and rethreads them. I think it is @Coupe, but I'm not 100% sure.

We also had some fun last night with a mini meet it was kinda spontaneous me, @Superman910 , @ready6delta , @TacoFMS , and @Coot83 . I'd been looking forward to meeting Superman and Ready6 for a while. Good guys and a fun time. Plus the fact they all had outstanding trucks to droole over didn't hurt either.
