I loved that little truck but it just wouldn't do what I needed it to do. Congrats on passing the bar!

Hopefully! Student loans aren't too bad. They aren't nothin, but they're much lower than most.

Oldest daughter graduated in 2014 from a private college. Yougest will graduate in December of next year from VT. With her major, which is pretty rare, she'll have to go to Oregon St for her masters. Hopefully she'll get some scholarship money for grad school and won't owe much from undergrad

    60K service: 57,234 miles

I had already changed air filter, cabin air filter, spark plugs, cleaned MAF, and PCV valve. Today I dropped the skids and changed all the fluids.
Engine oil and filter........Pennzoil Platinum and unstalled Fumoto valve
    Transmission.................Red Line MT-90
    T-case..........................Red Line MT-90
    Differentials..................Lucas 80w-90 Dyno

What pump are y'all using for the fluids? I ordered the Lumax at the bottom of the page and either I'm a dumbass or it's a piece of shit. It was very hard to pump and was getting air in the tubes. The air doesnt hurt anything but it interupted the oil flow. I checked and everything was tight on the pump itself. Maybe some of you have used something better.

    A thing or two...
The lumax is the pump that i use. I don't remember having any issues with air bubbles on my last diff/tranny service. Pumping is stiff because of the weight of the oil. I've read of people putting the bottles in hot water so the oil flows better. I haven't tried it myself.

I just used an el cheapo from Amazon that worked well. The first one i accidentally broke, so i bought another.

Its slow but works. I have read people saying they make ones with automatic pumps that do it for you, but never researched them.

I'm a huge fan of that strap. I've used it many times (even a couple days ago) and it always works great.

Yeah I love that it's designed to stretch. I can get a small running start, and slingshot the stuck truck free. You'll love it!

    For the mid skid:
All you did was cut it and weld in a 2" wide piece to make it fit?

Yes sir. The ifs skid works great so does the t case skid. Just cut across the mid and add a 2" piece of 3/16. I had an automatic. I would think a standard would be the same. If your in sure just make the cut and test fit. Measure the gap and it'll tell you what you need

Who knows, the 2.7 manual might just bolt up without issue. Guess I'll crawl under there and measure things
