Checking in to say that the IFS skid fit mine perfectly! I slacked off and didn't get in on the mid skid, though.
Thanks for the advice you gave me.

Sure just a dit project. 2" wide 1/8" thick steel. I measure length needed to span from bed rail Chanel's to the ridge that goes along the bed even with the tops of the fenders. I cut the steel long enough so I could bend a 90 at the bottom spacing it out from the bed sides. Drilled a couple of holes at the top and attached with 3/8 hardware and T nuts to the bed rail cahannels. I mounted a pair of quick fist tool holders to each and they were just painted with spray paint

I don't blame you man, just processing deer gets old fast and there isn't enough fun for me to validate the single shot that takes place these days.

I don’t hunt much anymore but my brother does on our family farm (~1200 acre cattle farm). Last year he killed a nice 14 pointer that he mounted (after it jumped in the pond and he had to use the canoe to get it out). A couple years ago, we put the smack on them as a huge group of ~20 throughout the season and killed 27... didn’t even hurt he population cause they’re still everywhere. My dad likes going out in the truck and watching them.

It's little things like the having to retrieve it with a canoe that create the memories and make it special. The size of the rack is just the icing on the cake

The canoe part came after the foot chase around the hill. He came back to the house and grabbed a swimsuit and goggles  when it was like 35 degrees. Luckily it was still floating a little bit.

I gotta ask. So as a kid, being your a Christmas Eve baby, did Santa Claus bring you 1 or 2 gifts? I mean it really is 1 day apart
