This is true. It’s seen very little off road. Hopefully that’ll change and in the future if there’s a need I’ll address it then

It’s all true I’m guilty of building a half assed truck and then not doing much with it. When I started all this shit to was under doctors orders not to do anything like that. They were affraid I’d shake my shoulder too hard and damage it again and if I did so I’d loose bennifit from work. Now I don’t really have an excuse. I just putter around in the garage with it when I want to. May as well have left it stock. I listened to Justin among a few others getting started building this and I really enjoy the work part of it. I need a group around here to be active with and had hoped TW was the answer but it has not been. I’ll get the inspiration to go and when I do I will. I find it a little intimidating tbh think of me what you will IDGAF. Scared of breaking shit, nervous about ducking the body up, worried about looking like a dumbass whatever I’m getting to where I really couldn’t give a shit less about what anybody thinks. I keep to myself at work and at home for the most part it just seems easier. The truck, as cheaply built as it is, does deserve to see some trails and hopefully it’s time will come

This isn’t directed at anybody but me

First step to not worrying about if you fuck it up, good insurance..

But fuck what anyone thinks. At the end of the day, you do what you want to do, right wrong or indifferent. Life is too short to care what others think about you.

Keep on keeping on ya old crusty bastard

 Yep I just do me anymore. Fuck everything else. The one and only time we met I was so preoccupied with my dislike for some one and some things I ran my mouth about shit and shoulda just kept it shut it wasn’t what I went there for. I’ve had a good bit of shit come down on me the last couple of years that, as my wife says, has made me a grumpy mean bastard. Oh fuckin well I’m really not I guess people don’t like hearing what I’m thinking instead and f me being politically correct or polite.
How are you doing hope momma and the baby are fine

@ovrlndkull here is said bracket. Nothing fancy but as I had the typical mounting location occupied I had to make allowances.

Hey man FPK and some other easy trails are near you go ride them and get a feel. There is nothing wrong with backing down when you don't feel comfortable. Eh it's tough to find a halfways decent group to do stuff with.

Pretty slick little deal. I should do this simple mod

You can but you don't have to and it still works just suposed to work a little better if you do I believe. It also has a little dipstick so you can see how much is in it.

It may seem frustrating at times but enjoy every minute you can they grow up fast. Maybe this is why we forget so much as we get older so we don't remember all we're missing.

Agree on this, you would be surprised how much more appreciation you will have for the ride by seeing what it can really do. We have a decent amount of beginner/intermediate spots that your truck is more than capable of taking on.

I’m thinking I’m going to find some older guys that don’t mind going slower and start on these trails. Besides I can scout for camping spots for when I get camper back

Sounds good, I think the majority drive at a casual pace in this area. If anything, Im the odd ball.
