Nobody is trying to get me to go off road a little it’s what I’ve wanted to do since I started all this. My desire is for Christie and I to be able to take the camper and get away from the campgrounds when we’d like and just get out and explore. I’ve got about all I need for that now it’s just time for me to get out there and do it. There’s nothing holding me back but me

The guys up here do it often I thought it’s be fun anyway. James and I are talking about dragging the campers to the top for a weekend in August also. I gotta start doing something. The camping and light wheeling is what I’m after I think hard to tell I guess until I get off my sorry ass and do it

A bunch of guys just did it last month. I think it's more of a scenic thing than anything we have a few of those trails in the mtns here. Although not so fun if you want some real offroading they are cool because you get to see things most people won't venture off and do.

I bought a set of KB Voodoo bed rail enforcing plates and a tail gate cap used. The powder coat wasn’t very good on them so I cleaned them up and refinished them with bedliner and paint. I installed everything and they work it k except the tail gate cap it didn’t play nicely with the best top so I put the stock oneback on.

    A thing or two...
What was the issue with the tailgate cap and Bestop? Was it too low to lock the rear window bar in place?

Yeah the tail gate cap sticks up a little higher than the stock one. It kept hitting the back window bar and wouldn’t shut. It’s tighter shutting the tailgate now with the bed rail plates on anyway because they’re not as thick as the stock plastic ones
