Wholeheartedly subd. Really hope that the pup can get used to the camper. I wouldn't be able to leave mine.

I'm going to do my best to get her to like it. I'm not as concerned about having her with us at first when we are going to campgrounds but when we can get out and away from things I want her with us. Hell sometimes I think I got this for her as much as us. She stays rt with me all the time it'll be tough leaving her

A couple of more odds and ends taken care of in prep for Friday!

New camp table we already had the rack it can be clamped to the table or stuck in the ground. Paper towel holder, soap disspencer holder, trash bag holder, and various other hooks for hanging things. This will be primarily a prep and wash station.

DIY power cord connection cover. power cord connection contained inside so it doesn't sit in any water if it rains. Cheap, repurposed, ice cream container.

Ah that's a really good idea. After this trip I need to get a heavier exstension cord anyway. It's just one of those "I have one that'll work for now" kinda things. This is a very good idea though I hadn't thought of it

:gossip:OSHA and the NEC require that any extension cords, and cord- and plug-connected equipment used to construct, maintain, repair, and demolish (including alterations and painting), is required to have GFCI protection, or the assured equipment grounding conductor program (AEGC)
Actually a very safe manor in which you should perform work.

I think Walmart years ago. It can be clamped to the table or there's 2 more post sections so you can stick it in the ground

I like the fact that you can clamp it! I am tall and most camping kitchen are too low. My camping table is higher but I don't have the rack, so it would be nice!

I have been pretty unimpressed with the stability. The hitch is only rated for 1000lbs and those stabilizers are nothing great. I am going to add some stuff, but I haven't gotten any wheel chocks yet. I am doing Ozarks next weekend and New Mexico over labor day. I am pulling the mattress pad from my Tepui tent to see if that fits so I don't have to buy an extra mattress

Good looking tent I'd think a 3 person would be a little hard to get up there. Ours did great this weekend and with the added stabalizers it was pretty solid

    MAIDEN VOYAGE COMPLETE!

We left Friday and went to Outlanders campground a beautiful quiet place in the Shennandoah valley rt along the river. The trip up was fine it's only about an hour away. I used the leveler and had it levelled and the 4 stabalizers in place in about 5 minutes. We got a site with power and water so we had all we needed. We had the whole site set up in an hour or so not bad for the first real time. We had a wonderful grilled steak dinner and enjoyed the quiet. Saturday we ran in to our first snag rt off the bat. We went to make coffee and breakfast to find our camp stove we had just checked now did not want to work so off we went in search of a new one. Mission complete we had our coffee and breakfast and spent the day wondering along the river and ended with a wonderful campfire and another fantastic grilled dinner. What a great place thanks @Cypherian for the recommendation!

    Pics!

Dinner friday was grilled steaks, potatoes, garlic bread, and Avacado/tomato salad. Saturday was marinated grilled chicken breast, asparagus and shrimp

night shots: we were pretty well lit up

Saturday we went to Cooter's and spent the day along the river

Great time just the 2 of us. We met some great people and had alot of fun
