Pup stayed behind after we get a cuple under our belts and figure everything out we'll start taking her we missed her. Evrybody else had theres but being as we don't have a big camper it's not like we had anywhere to leave her if we went somewhere either

I REALLY like that little awning you have back of the TM!

Glad you both like the trip!! Can't wait to see where you will be taking that Tiger Moth to camp!

Took mine out today to practice parking and backing it up, I haven't driven it yet, my wife drove it back from Houston.
So far we have added some mattress pads to make it more comfortable to sleep. Costco has some great ones for 35 dollars from lightoutdoors. This is basically the same as on Amazon for cheaper and have great reviews. We did 2 side by side as opposed to one large to make it easier to store. I bought the Cabela's shower tent and have a camco chemical toilet in the way. I am going to try and make it to spring before buying a generator for the AC. We are headed to Ozarks this weekend and then Northern new mexico over labor day to try things out. I am really happy with how light it is, doesn't change much how you drive

I've been having to back teailers up since before I started driving with tractors and farm equipment and stuff. I thought as short as this is it may be a pain but it has not been at all. The camper tracks rt along and does a wonderful job. Reversing and arking in our slot was super easy and with the anderson leveler and the 2 additional stabalizers we had it plumb and stable in minutes. I did plumb the trailer and put a level on each of the top front corners (truck side) and 1 at the bottom in front of each fender so I don't have to look far to find if I'm level or not. It really seems to be a wonderful piece of equipment. I cant say as the truck towed it super easy the 4cyl didn't like it going through the mtns at all. A change ay have to be made

Let me know if you want to try this place. Prices are about the same as other places and you can tube in the river. You have to bring or buy a tube but they do rent golf carts. Its clean and relatively quiet

We leave our dog in the teardrop with the AC on while we shower, hot springs, etc. It did take a second trip to get her to go and enjoy herself, first trip she stayed in the TD and just looked out the window for three days. Now when I bring out the camping box, she is all over it, ready to go.

You don't look like you have a surge protector in line with the pedestal. That is a must if you have ever read the horror stories about campground power. Open grounds, fluctuation in power, reversed power hot and neutral. If you burn out your power converter, might not be covered by your warranty.

Thanks I guess I'll be looking at one of them now also. I've bought all the adapters now I'll have to find one of those. Is that what you sent me the link for earlier?

Yep, doesn't look like any in stock but that is a good price. You could probably fabricate your own locking cover for it but I just put a lock on the pedestal cover.

Something cheap for you then... I don't remember if you were going to get a small generator for boon-docking but if you are, read this and make a neutral-ground plug. It will make the surge protector work properly on a generator. It looks like his site has falling to the image death star but the article explains all and you should be able to figure out how to make one.

That's interesting I haven't made my mind up yet between solar or a generator or both.
