Always something. Christie and I are thinking about a combined gift for Christmas and going ahead with a fridge

More pics incoming. I haven't been able to take it out yet because of family obligations. Going to get a bunch of shots of it all setup.

A fridge would be niiiiiice. I rarely get to take a trip that lasts for more than three nights so my RTIC has been all I need for food and beers.

We're thinking the fridge for normal use and meals planned for later in the trip will be packed frozen in a cooler not to be opened until they're needed. I've been looking at the IndelB 51

The plan to keep it inside the TigerMoth or the truck?

I haven't made it that far yet. There is a 12v outlet rt by the count o king station so it may stay there while on site and transported in the tim as there's also a 12v outlet inside. I am going to get the insulating blanket to go with it

Thanks we're trying it's pretty much just me and the queen now so we figured a little adventure time. There's a bit to go before we can leave the campgrounds but we're working on it.

are you planning to make it a little more offroad worthy? or are you referring more to its self sustainability? im digging it so far. I dont recall having ever seen one like it.

For right now self sustainability. We're getting ready to order a fridge and once we have that I'll have what I need to understand my power demands. I plan on converting to a dual battery setup and then get the properly sized solar unit to stisfy demand. Next will be a source for hot water, a pop up shower to also serve as a bathroom, and a pottie. When I get this done we should be able to go off grid for at least a week. Then I may tackle upgrading the suspension and extending the tongue and adding propane. Who knows what else at this point?

This is a great build! i cant wait to see whats next! i love the whole concept of an offroad mini camper. for now im going to have to settle for my RTT which we will be taking on its maiden voyage in a few weeks up in the catskills in upstate NY. Im really hoping we dont freeze to death. I feel like your camper would provide a much more cozy winter camping experience.

I have friends with rtt's you'll love it compared to a ground tent. After 17 years being Girl Scout leaders and millitary before that I was done with a tent. Besides I can empty it, clean it, and repack it in under an hour when we get back. We can also store our ger in it between trips. It works for us I'm not about to say it's for everybody.

It's a blast! We've had alot of fun with it so far and when I can get it situated to where we can get away from camp grounds it should be even more fun. We've had a blast at the campgrounds though just meeting people litterally from all over the world. We are blessed with some beautiful state parks here and we want to adventure to more of them this year. It's just me , Momma, and the dog

They sell a "toy hauler" version made by a different manufacturer Intec I believe that has a pull out kitchen with fridge and 2 burner. You can get them with air, roof racks, and awnings. You get where your going, pull the golf kart out, and setup your sleeping area. It was our next choice but this one suited ur needs better. It's lie tent camping with a hard sided tent. I really appreciate the availabillity to store our gear in it also

Nice camper. Just came across this thread. We're big campers too. Have a small TT as well, not quite as small as yours.

We've only had it a little while and so far it's been alot of fun. Coming from a camping background both while in the service and as Girl Scout leaders Christie and I wanted something different and something we felt we could explore with. We still have a way to go to have it where we can do all we want to but it's getting there. Thanks for reading thrrough it

Hey wlecome everybody to the new year and we're getting ready to get rolling with some mods! We made our first big step for the year and bought our freezer/ fridge. Now the fun begins figuring out storage and converting, eventually, to a dual battery setup with solar.

After months of research and asking friends and folks who know more about this than us we settled with the Indel B TB51a
