It's supposed to be sealed but the compartment is also vented in 2 locations and there's a carbon minoxide detector above it. This is new to me so I'll have to look into it thanks

Sub'd, I'm sure you're going to love it. Good luck with it.

My FWC was pre-wired for solar when I bought it. I eventually ended up wiring in a 125W panel with a lot of help from the Wanderthewest.com FWC subsection on Solar. Solar Blvd is a great supplier.

Hydrogen is lighter than air, Carbon Monoxide is heaver, the detector won't check for hydrogen.

I also have a CPAP, 4 6v's in the front tub, solar and a generator to keep them up. I put in a selector switch and isolated the two sets. One for me, one for the rest of the TD for light, tv, frig and fans. I make sure mine are fully charged when I hit the bed.

It ought to come in handy for additional stowage of gear that doesn't need to be inside

Thanks little camper has no fridge, tv, or much of anything. the AC can only be run when hooked into wall power or a gen set. I will be looking into a solar panel but have also had several others recommend 6v batteries also

Very unique trailer. Is the shape supposed to be an aerodynamic thing or something?

Ha somebody asked earlier. I never asked but the only thing that makes sense is that in the rear the bed slides back into a bench and with it raised in the rear it gives you head room for sitting. This aspect along with the large opening side hatch is part of what sold us on it. Say yur having inclimate weather it gives you a lace to sit and play cards or games and can even have the hatch raised keeping some of the weather out yet allowing you to still enjoy the outside

I have seen the pictures 6 times :anonymous: I know kinda weird but the more I see it the more I like it. I can already imagine that thing in a mountin top with coffee brewing in the stove. Perfect camping setup for 1 or 2 campers.

We have a big dbl burner cast iron stove but I don't think we're going to take it to start off with at least just a regular coleman camp stove. It's just kinda big to tote around and runs off a gas grill bottle. If we get a small gas grill to take and maybe a firepit in a can and i have to mount a propane bottle then we may take it

You have the first superwhite I used for inspiration. It's an outstanding truck I'll get there someday but still keeping it practical. I know toting this camper and having to be set up to do so brings some limitations but I think it'll take us on some cool adventures

Hey I'll tell you what. @Idaholandho has a killer trailer that got me thinking that maybe I want one some day too! LOL Pretty sure his trailer has 33" tires on it though.

It's all about priorities though. If your truck in it's current form gets you and your lady where you want to go then I'd say you're doing fantastic!

Nothing better than getting out of town and enjoying the outdoors!
