Nah not water but that’s not a bad idea now that I think about it hmmm.... I was talking about propane tank. And my trailer is getting a hard top built for it last I heard they had started using the laser cutter to cut everything out and started bending and welding it so should be done soon

Chris I have no idea how I missed this thread, but it's just outstanding. I almost passed out..ahahahahahaha. What a great build, and adventure into something cool and different. This has me all over it and it very well may inspire me to start another project. Thanks Sir.

LEWIS MTN. / SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK:

So our first trip of the year is in the books. We had hoped to get started earlier but the Pandemic kinda put a halt to that. The new job kinda put a halt to us being able to go for longer trips as I just don't have the time to take. Shorter 2-3 day trips will just have to do for now but at least we can go.
We always seem to go to some of the same places which I will admit is partially my fault as I am a little timid about trying new things. I made a decision that we would go someplace new this time and that we would hit every campground on Skyline Drive this year. Not a lofty goal but a goal never the less.
We headed South this time and went to the smallest campground in the park Lewis Mtn. The parks are only serving a 50% capacity as of now due to the virus so we tried to get there early as we could. There's only 32 spots total I believe so only 16 available and was only 6 left when we got there. Nice place and at 50% capacity we weren't cramped IDk if I would like it at full capacity. Plenty of wild life and nice people. One of the reasons we like some campgrounds is meeting new people and we have met some interesting ones over the last few years.
Only bathrooms were available so we were self sufficient. Solar worked like a charm and we did great. It rained on us several times so we ended up having to set everything up. I don't usually set the pop-up up but it gives us more realestate to keep dry and some more privacy. Relaxing, great food, and chillin by the fire. Cool nites and good sleeping.

    We made a new friend:

    Goal inspiration:

We have now done 2 Mathews Arm and Lewis Mountain. Loft is next on the list. We have no idea what Rock Fish gap is but were told Loft is the Southern most campground.

A couple of things were made apparent. We need more bug repellent and even with the fixed solar I am going to add a suitcase solar so I can remote and follow the sun. We have never had any power issues but it can't hurt.

Also met @refuz there nice guy pleasant meeting him his truck is in a pic behind Christie.

When it gets that hot I puss out and try and find somewhere I can go with regular power so I can use the AC in the camper and a fan under the awning. At some point I need to break down and buy a Honda 2000 generator to take with us

We were looking towards a gen before we upgraded campers. It def would have been helpful at times.

Thought about you last night some dude pulled in a couple spots down with a classC. He had an onboard gen which was handy for him as they had no power there
