Great to know and I always appreciate hearing personal testimonials especially when someone was willing to go back to stock UCAs! How difficult was the install and did it require the removal of the coil overs? Looks like you could just disconnect the UCA and upper spindle. Any clearance issues getting the wrenches in to loosen UCA bolt? Thanks for your input as I'm now just looking for the best price on TC UCAs!

To remove the arm you will have to bend/move some of the fender and remove a couple of bolts to move wiring harnesses and such out of the way, but it is super simple and one of the easiest mods to do on the truck. Don't worry about it....it's so easy a caveman could do it.

Thanks guys for the input as once again the mod bug has bitten me! Any particular vendor have the best pricing on TC UCAs or did you order directly from Total Chaos?

At least 5 days a week. I have had mud on top of the uniball, as well as dirt. They are fine. In fact, I had them apart last weekend so I could inspect them. They are as tight as they were when new. :)

well damnit, cause im about to drive my truck off into a lake because of these sorry allpros!!!!! im seriously thinkin of going with lightracing because the balljoint is covered. but is it strong enough for saw 2.5" 650lb coils or 14" 700lb coils?
and with your tc control arms, how do u clean them? i mean u gotta clean the mud and stuff off the top dont u in order to re lube with triflow or pb blaster on top of the ball?

I havent had to lube them yet. I just have been blasting them with the pressure washer at the local car wash to get the mud at crap off. They dont make any noise! Hel, I havent even greased them from when I installed them. 20,000+ miles and they are quiet as stock. AllPro UCA's are garbage. A guy on TTORA took my Stock UCA's because He felt the same as you. There are a bunch of us out here with TC's and I havent heard of any issues with any of them. I imagine the Light Raceing UCA's will have issues with the ball joint. The only advantage they have over stoc is that they correct for caster. TC's are much more $$$$, but, IMHO, its worth it.

Yep. I have had the front submerged in a river when crossing, and in a lake for a few hours and never had a problem.

damn dude, im jealous, well i contacted wheelers and they said the light racing ball joints are beefy enough for sway away coilovers.

Well, Its still a good choice! Better than stock. FWIW, I know alot of people running the TC's and none of them make any noise. :)

I really don't see strength as being an issue?

Unless you will be jumping your truck on a regular basis.

The LR UCA's are just as strong as the stock if not stronger.

The only area that concerns me is the bushings. That is the area I'm not to thrilled about.

well looks like u have had camburg , tc and now lr. so why did u go from tc to lr ? and what sort of coilovers are u running to get 6" of lift? or do u have spacers or something. see the ball joint has to be strong enough for adjustable coilovers like sway aways 2.5" with 650 or 700lb coils.

I have the Fabtech 6 performance lift. It comes with CO's

I switched to the LR's because the TC Were too much for the 6" lift.

TC were perfect for the 3" lift.

The 6" lift uses DB's so it almost becomes like stock. So the TC's still worked but just barely.

ok yea i saw that lift but i just didnt want 6". im short as hell.
ok so u dont think those coilovers will wear on the lr ball joints too much?
and what do u mean the tcs were too much for the 6" lift? what do u mean too much? and what is DB?
