    just saw a commercial of new Castrol Edge? A new synthetic oil, claiming better than Mobile by 8x!

    I thought castrol was horrible....
    what do u guys think?

    I think Winter for me is Amsoil

    and summer goes whatever the cheapest in Synthetic in Wal-mart! :)

    I just put it in my truck to try it out.
    We shall see.

    Wasn't planning on it. But that would be the best way to determine its usefulness.

    I dunno, I"ve ran Castrol GTX Syntec in all my rides, never had a problem... :shrug: TT Stealth, G35, Taco.... can't say.

    I would be interested to see some reports on Edge though... I wish I had my blackstone kit with me here, I'd submit my latest syntec and run edge for 5k, submit...

    i saw the new fast and furious last night in blu-ray :)
    anyway... I saw that brian o'connor pouring a Edge into that skyline...
    I guess they were pushing the name back in april uh?

    Castrol hasn't made anything good in synethic... its kinda good that they are getting into the market. After the winter I wouldn't mind picking a 5qt jug at wal-mart if the price worth my wild. Pennzoil and Mobil 1 at wal-mart sure are cheap and they even take my oil! LOVE IT!!
