just saw a commercial of new Castrol Edge? A new synthetic oil, claiming better than Mobile by 8x!

    I thought castrol was horrible....
    what do u guys think?

I think Winter for me is Amsoil

and summer goes whatever the cheapest in Synthetic in Wal-mart! :)

Wasn't planning on it. But that would be the best way to determine its usefulness.

I dunno, I"ve ran Castrol GTX Syntec in all my rides, never had a problem... TT Stealth, G35, Taco.... can't say.

I would be interested to see some reports on Edge though... I wish I had my blackstone kit with me here, I'd submit my latest syntec and run edge for 5k, submit...

Castrol hasn't made anything good in synethic... its kinda good that they are getting into the market. After the winter I wouldn't mind picking a 5qt jug at wal-mart if the price worth my wild. Pennzoil and Mobil 1 at wal-mart sure are cheap and they even take my oil! LOVE IT!!
