Just wondering if you still like your Jardine catback and muffler. Has it got louder as time goes on, and do you find the muffler to loud for sustained highway runs.

Yes! I love it, it has a nice deep rumble to it. It has gotten louder, and its loudest point is around 2200 RPM. Highway driving is not bad at all. It's only loud on the highway if I smash it. :D

why? have you looked at your exhaust, it already has all the hot tricks stock. The stock exhaust is mandrel bent, diameter 2-2.5 inches, and only a few nasty bends. Yeah, I know the muffler is rather large but damn from the factory is hard to beat(I must be getting old:(). On this truck the only thing I might change would be the header.

Save your money and just buy a muffler. The factory pipes are the appropriate size for the hp level the engine is making and they are already mandrel bent. You won't see any gain from a catback compared to the muffler.
