Got the Talons Garage one with the wing looking doodads and security bolts.
Ordered it and the thing was at my house in 2 days, so that was pretty good.
Watched a guy's YouTube video about it and had it installed in about 20 minutes out on my driveway.
I like that it bolts right up with no drilling or any of that nonsense.
Only glitch I had was when my dog Tucker (that's him in the picture to the left) grabbed the package of bolts and hauled ass down to the pond - just knew he was going to jump in and drop them.
But all's well and I'm pretty happy how it all turned out.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
A friend of mine has a newer Mitsubishi suv and had her cats cut off. Had to wait months for new ones to show up. Had new ones installed and a cat shield. Meth heads came back and cut the shield off and took the new cats.

Rci transmission skid with the car shields. Not much more than a cat shield and will survive off-road.

The website only offers one for a 2wd unless I missed something. Is that what you have?

You missed something. I've got their shield on my 4x4, it's pretty beefy and arrived in days.

I did the Talon (Nov 1, 2021) and mated it with the TRD Skid. ($330+$30 shipping) If you want security bolts add $60.

    Yeah.
I went with MillerCat, it's a good product and was cheaper than other options. If I did it again, I think I'd try the Talon's Garage since it is a bit beefier. We'll see how this one holds up in the wild.

    Oh look, another mod....

I'm gonna find out where your truck is parked, then I'll steal that sticker! Because you didn't protect it. That'll teach ya'.

2nd gen here... aluminum for less weight/no rust. Went with the 3/16"... install was easy. Only downside is it will have to be either taken down or at least have one side plate removed to get to a couple of the driveline zerks.

One of the first mods I did was purchase the MillerCat 304 stainless steel cat shield for my 2022 Tacoma. 304 stainless steel is a beeatch to cut with a Sawall blade plus I Loctite the bolts and squirted a little high temp RTV in the tamper-proof bolt heads (got the idea from one of my fellow TW member). Thieves are really going to have to work for my cats.

    CAT SHIELD
I have a 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Do not buy(CAT SHIELD) piece of JUNK, Vibration noise consistently every time I accelerate. s/w technical support they run me thru hoops (take it off, reinstall, take pictures so they can verify that it is installed correctly take video etc... This is a badly designed product.

I have a MilkerCat stainless steel (16 gauge) no rattles and very happy with it. MillerCat now offers a 12 gauge version. I used to have to park in a crappy part of town where a couple of coworkers had their Cats cut off. I feel my shield saved my Cats.

Yes, I know the OP started this thread a couple of years ago. Just wanted to chime in about my satisfaction with MillerCat since I have had it for a few years.
