Cat delete question

I have a 3.4 with a bad cat, if I were to replace the cat with a small muffler/resonator would it be quieter than it is or louder. I already have a magnaflow muffler but I wouldnt mind the truck being a bit louder. thanks

 

You ever hear one of those old lowered hondas with the big exhaust pipe..... yeah its gonna be loud af!
I deleted the cat off of my 89 crx..... cops could hear me 4 blocks away.

 

I actually have tried no cats and it was a little too loud, but almost bearable. Im just wondering if i add the small muffler if it would sound decent. Guess only one way to find out
