I installed a Miller cat shield on my 2019 LB TRD 4X4. Nicely made product, but I now notice a lot of squeaking when I use the truck off road as the suspension articulates. I assume it's the shield. Sound familiar to anyone?

Put one wheel on an oil change ramp, grab hold of the fender and shake the unholy shit out of the truck. Locate source of squeak. Add washers and tighten as necessary.

Mine doesn’t make any noise at all. At least not that I can hear.
Maybe crawl underneath to make sure all the fasteners are good and tight.

Is your Miller Cat stainless steel or aluminum? Mine is stainless steel and no rattles or squeaking.

Might be a coincidence. There’s that fallacy of logic that always annoys everyone in my family the one out of fifty times a year I cite it and happen to be correct. Post hoc ergo propter hoc. Close proximity in time doesn't necessarily mean correlation.

What kind of off-roading? I would imagine a high-speed rattle more than low speed (?) squeaking. I have the Miller alu. 2wd cat shield, FWIW.

I have an aluminum Talons shield and it made popping/creaking noises. Initially only over steep driveways, then eventually even turning the wheels in a parking lot it would pop. Removed the shield and TRD skid to replace differential fluids and it went away. Reinstalled everything and made sure everything was snug and so far so good.

    *edited - I have a Talons shield

Thanks guys. Mine is SS. I made sure all the fasteners were very snug.
It's possible it's due to a recent wheel alignment I had done. Not sure.

Maybe spray some WD40 where the shield contacts the frame and see if the squeak goes away
