Alright, there's no need for that man, I don't pretend to know everything about how this shit works. the tailpipe was submerged at a good depth and I figured it was worth asking people who would know.

dd light bars, trd cat back exhaust, KDMax tuned, trd skid plate, 2" lift, sema wheels toyo open country at3 tires.
common over time for the catalyst to break down, and plug the cat/pipe. only fix is, new cat. You didnt get debris in the cat driving it. even off road, in deep water. It is a year and mileage thing. Ski

I didn't think it could, I just figured it was worth noting that the truck didn't get water in the engine.

You are good brother! To replace your catalytic converter will be an expensive repair. So if your truck runs fine and is not throwing any emissions related codes, then I say drive it and be happy!

Wait until it poos the honeycomb out the exhaust. It's good for what #$#%^ is that in my drive? Had an old Dodge D50 that did that. My dad made me collect the "moon" rocks in the mornings after I started it so the parents did not have to drive over it and risk a puncture.

Federal warranty on Cats is 8 years or 80K miles. If you are under 80K miles, problems with your Cats should be under warranty.

    https://www.marketwatch.com/guides/...arranty: The length,for 8 years/80,000 miles.

I have not looked at my exhaust but most newer vehicles have 2 small front cats and then a main cat. 5.4L Ford trucks had many front cat issues and sometimes pieces would get into the rear cat. Someone mentioned small rocks between heat shield and also about the 8/80 warranty. Both great posts.

Tacos have 4 cats. Just FYI. That's part of why they are targeted by cat thieves.
