    Well…
Just had a Tacoma over. Had to adjust a few things… but good news, I now have a transmission skid plate/ cat protector for the Tacoma.

    ^this.
Probably enough to just slow them down, they will simply roll under the vehicle next to yours and get a-cuttin'...

Let's not forget, this this will also work as a functional off road skid plate being 1/4" Aluminum. I believe other guys are offering them in 1/8" which is very light in aluminum. I plan on also offering this in 10 Gauge steel... Maybe 3/16th....

Right now the limitation of this plate is it needs locking hardware... which is something I am going to get rolling Monday. Having trying to cut some 1/4" aluminum, they are most likely not going to cut this off, easily. Their 60 second job just became 5-10 minuets.

Only 5 acres to mow, the rest is all woods and orchard/pasture, hence the bush hog.
    1 college kid and 2 teenagers, plus a pre-teen.
    Good deductive work!

Been there done that when I was a younger. Kids are grown and gone so we moved into town. We had 7 acres on a creek, so I know how much work it takes to keep it up. Good times!

Cherish that time and find the Zen in all that you do.

I don't care if anyone will hire them. i don't care if they have any skills. I don't care if they ever become successful. Lock them up for as long as it takes and then lock them up again for even longer.
What we are doing now is not working and I would suggest that we are not locking them up long enough.
Community court programs and holding hands and singing koom by yeah with prosecutors and judges does not work.
We've turned our court system into another social program. A failed one.
Court and jails are meant for punishment.
You need not commit one single crime to get job skills, food assistance, medial assistance or drug/alcohol treatment.
For my tax money build prisons and jails to the heavens and fill them up.
If you can't follow the law you go to jail or prison or go to another state and create havoc.
    Not in my back yard.

My buddy caught a guy cutting off catalytic converters off cars in our parking lot before work. Called the cops. They came in time, confiscated two catalytic converters and let the guy go.
    Yep.
    Let him go.

Be careful, you are advocating actually punishing criminals and protecting the good citizens. You will likely be attacked for such beliefs. Too many kind hearted snowflakes around that take offense if you advocate a method that would work.

Let’s get back to boobytraps and shield talk… and leave the trials and tribulations of the American Judicial and Penal systems to the fuzznuts on cable news.

Just stumbled across this post, thinking about getting one of these shields. I noticed on the company's website that is says "4WD" only. Does anyone know what the mounting point difference would be from a 4WD and 2WD? My truck is 2WD, so I plan on called the company after this holiday weekend. They unfortunately don't have an email address listed on their website.

I'm curious if they have "4WD Only" listed as that's all they've tested/installed it on.

I’d venture to guess the 2WD (v6) is likely the same. I think the variation might be the 4cyl, which likely has a who lotta room. The risks would be with so much space, trapping debris inn with a hot cat… that would certainly call for a 4WD warning.

They have a webform for contacting them so you don't have to log into your email, I think it's in their FAQs or ..well..I forgot where I found it but it's there.
