    May I suggest:
    1) Get rid of the logo in the middle. Engrave the logo instead.
    2) shipping to CA.

    Thank you.

So the skid plate that is offered in their website for 4x4 will work for the 2WD? 2014 PreRunner is what I have.

It work on mine just fine. Just those little things as described in the post you quoted. It's on solid and will definitely discourage someone from trying to cut off the cats on my truck.

    thanks Shaun,

I went to your website and this is all I found. I have a 2014 Tacoma DCLB SR5 Pre. Will this still work? I believe someone here said that they have a 2nd Gen and they were satisfied with it. But just want to confirm.

I have not test fit my plate to a 2nd gen truck yet. I have been trying to find someone local that could swing by. I have looked at a few and there might be a way to make it fit.

Just got done with the cat security install. I drilled the 4 holes... figured with them and the 3 larger bolts it would make it that much more difficult and time consuming for someone to remove. Even with my 2" lift it's a bit tight with the truck not jacked up with a drill motor and a 4-5" bit... a 3" step drill bit worked great. Overall, i'm very impressed with the shield and it's coverage. Not sure about the TRD skid (mines an 07) but i plan on going with the cali raised led front skid... it extends farther back than most and will end up covering the 3 forward fasteners of the cat shield... there's no way anyone would spend the time and go through all that to steal the cats. Use red loctite on the 8 the fasteners of the side shields and the 4 threaded inserts (after drilling the 4 holes) if you never plan on removing them.

Exactly, the idea is to slow them down. BTW- love your "Keep on Truckin" signature.
