Just watched a special on the local news about an increase in catalytic converter thefts... anyway to prevent this?

I know a lot of toyota owners here in Texas that have lost their Cats. Not much you can do with the saws they are using out there. Just park in a good place with a lot of lights. They are real easy to get to that is why they get stolen a lot. Good luck.

Chris4x4 made the shield for his truck back in 2008 IIRC. It's the tweakers stealing them. No other lifeform is as heinous.

You could have some fun and run a secondary battery that's hooked up directly to the cat and give that thief the shock of a lifetime :D
