Catalytic Converter Thief

Does anybody knows if our Toyota Tacoma 4X4's or like are susceptible for catalytic converter thief. Since CAT thieves are rampant in California, I stopped driving and parking my truck at the train station to avoid somebody steal my catalytic converter. I am not sure if the thieves can get any precious metals from the Tacoma's CAT. Please let me know. Thanks.

 

I mean yeah its a high truck and the placement of them makes it dumb easy to steal. The front two are more hidden but a veteran cat thief could take all four no problem.

Yes there have been reported Tacoma cat thefts.

OP....are you really parking your truck at the train station hoping to avoid CAT theft????

Perhaps I misunderstand your statement.

Seems like he stopped driving his truck and parked it at the train station.


Anyhow.....CAT theft is a real problem. More rampant is some areas. I live in a small midWest town in the middle of a corn field. I know of 4 neighbors who have had their's stolen.
